4.6 lb/ft³ → class 175 — a large, mostly-air cardio frame is the bulky extreme.
Ship weights tight, knock down the machines
Treat the two ends as separate shipments. Weights go on low, tight, weight-rated pallets — they hit the pallet's limit fast, so build to weight, not height, and never blend a few plates onto a bulky-machine pallet where their value is wasted lifting the machine's blended density only slightly. Band securely; a shifting pallet of loose plates is a hazard.
For machines, knock down whatever the design allows and ship flat-boxed — it's the biggest lever, turning an assembled air-frame into dense, stackable cartons. Palletize the flat cartons full and square, keep dense components (motors, flywheels) packed with the frame rather than as separate light boxes, and confirm large home gyms and racks can be handled at delivery.
