Flat-pack, palletize, and mind the e-bike battery
Ship bikes as disassembled and flat as the design allows, and palletize multiple boxes rather than moving single long cartons — a pallet of bike boxes measures far better than the same bikes shipped individually, and it's easier to handle. Keep the packed-in components (wheels, bars, pedals) inside the frame carton, not as separate light boxes.
